The 2021 Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro Facebook Contest is open to non-profit organizations who serve children in the Waynesboro/Augusta County, Virginia region. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The Contest is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro.
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. The Sponsor reserves the right to change the Contest rules, revoke the Contest, or substitute the prize(s) being awarded, at its sole discretion.
Both Facebook and the Sponsor assume no responsibility for incomplete or incorrect entries, mechanical failure, human error, or any act of nature which may prohibit entering the Contest.
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
How to Enter
The Contest is open for nominations from August 2- August 6. To enter, the name of the organization must be posted on the Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro’s Facebook Contest post. Nominations may be made by individuals who live in or outside the contest region, however the non-profit organization must serve children in the Waynesboro/Augusta County, Virginia region. The Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro will select four (4) finalists, and those entries will be posted to The Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro’s Facebook page for voting beginning on or around August 16th. The entries will be posted in an album on the Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro’s Facebook page. The organization that receives the most “likes” on their organization logo/photo by August 22 at 11:59 p.m. will be named the winner. The winner will be announced on or around August 24th.
By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant the Sponsor exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.
Grand Prize: The organization who receives the most “likes” will receive a donation of up to $1,000 for their nonprofit organization. The winner will also be asked to make a presentation to the Waynesboro Kiwanis Club on the results of their project.
In the event of a tie, the Waynesboro Kiwanis Club will randomly select which of the finalists receiving the most likes will win the Grand Prize.
